Legal Question in Immigration Law in Mexico
Wait Time after being Deported
I am a U.S. Citizen & my husband is a Mex. National. To make a long story short - he will be getting deported. After we move to Mexico and wait 10 years what is the process to get him back legally? How long does it take? Can you tell me what I need to know to prepare?

I don't think anyone can advise you on what the law will be in 10 years. The question is, are you sure that you need to wait the 10 years? He may be eligible for a waiver. I strongly suggest that you contact an attorney to find out what your options are.

I do not think he needs to wait ten years. You can re-apply for him under 212(h) and apply for waiver.
