Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Michigan
Hi, I have a question
I am purchasing my first home. The loan is in my name but I would like to add my fianc� to the deed. Is it possible to add her at closing and the loan still being in just my name? Or does it have to be done after closing for her to just be on the deed?

It is up to the bank and more specifically the title company handling the transaction. You can have the deed signed at closing and ask the title company to hold the deed until after the mortgage is recorded. For more info., please contact my office at (248)851-3171.
