Legal Question in Traffic Law in Michigan
Speeding Tickets
I was issued a Civil Infraction ticket for doing 40 in a 35 in the State of Michigan. When I looked at the ticket, the officer signed the ticket saying all the information was correct. However, the name on the ticket was misspelled and my address wasn't even right. What is my chances of getting this ticket dismissed? Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Re: Speeding Tickets
Those spelling errors are not a basis for a dismissal of your ticket. Your only chance of having it reduced to a no-point or lesser point offense is by hiring a lawyer to request and attend a formal hearing and negotiate with the prosecutor, depending on your driving record.
