Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Michigan
Is there a way for me to stop Chrysler Financial from garnishing my wages without filing for bankruptcy?

You can file a petition with the court for an installment payment plan. You tell the court how much you can afford to pay each month towards the judgment. Also, you have to show the court what your monthly income and expenses are. If the judge grants your request, the garnishment will stop as long as you continue making your payments pursuant to your installment plan.
