Legal Question in Banking Law in Michigan
Checking account ''legal hold''
My son just found out that his checking account was hit for $24,000. He called the bank and spoke to an after-hours person and was told that the deduction is a ''legal hold''. My son has all of $600 in his account. What does this ''legal hold'' mean?
