Legal Question in Banking Law in Michigan
trucking school
My husband is a over the road truck driver. He has his cdl class a license. He still owes the school money and has not been able to pay for about 3months.The last payment he made was in November. The bank has been calling nonstop and he told them that when his taxes come in on march 7,2008 he will pay them. The guy at the bank says that if he dont pay them by tomorrow, there going to have his license suspended threw the state of michigan.Which is where we live and where he got his license. My question is can they do that? And what our are legal rights?

Nobody can do that. They have to sue him to get a judgment before they can garnish or anything else.
