Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Michigan
30 Day Stay after Dismissed Case
The judge dismissed my case because my counseling certificate was dated 3 days after my bankruptcy forms. He said that I could file for bankruptcy again but to be aware that there was only a 30 day stay. Does this mean that I have to wait 30 days or that credits can start contacting me again after 30 days? Thanks.

Re: 30 Day Stay after Dismissed Case
You don't have to wait 30 days before filing. It just means that the automatic stay is only in effect for 30 days, meaning secured creditors will be free to pursue their interests
