Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Michigan

Assets

I'm am considering filing bankruptcy and was wondering if I do that do I have to file my car and mobile home that I currently pay loans on? The loans are up to date and I fear that if I file I will lose both of them...

Greetings; In most cases autos and a home can be retained and not surrendered. You will need to schedule an appointment with a bankruptcy attorney and have them render an opinion of the exact status of these assets in a chapter 7 filing.
