Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Michigan

a friend of mine co-signed a car loan for me. she now has bill problems and is considering bankruptcy. my question is this, can she file and my car that she co-signed for be safe?

If your friend files then she would no longer be liable for the car note if you do not pay. Your relationship with the lender does not change (you keep the car and keep making payments as agreed).
