Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Michigan
Bankruptcy and Income Tax Return
we are expecting an income tax return, and plan on using it to pay off personal loans from friends. Would it be best to file taxes and pay these loans prior to filing bankruptcy, or doing them at the same time? I do not want the court to feel we have mislead them, these loans are not able to be included in the bankruptcy as I understand it. What do we need to have in way of proof of the loan repayment?
