How long does the state of Mi keep a BK on ones credit report?

The state of Michigan does not keep bankruptcies or anything else on one's credit report. It may report money due to the State, but it's up to the credit reporting agencies to delete negative payment histories when appropriate. Generally, a bankruptcy stays on one's credit report for up to 10 years.

bankruptcies and financial matters are controlled by credit reporting agencies. bankruptcies generally appear on your credit report for 10 years.
