Re: Bankruptcy

The state of Michigan does not keep bankruptcies or anything else on one's credit report. It may report money due to the State, but it's up to the credit reporting agencies to delete negative payment histories when appropriate. Generally, a bankruptcy stays on one's credit report for up to 10 years.
