bankruptcy
How long does a bankruptcy stay on your credit report? I filed in 1998 and it seems to be hampering my credit still.

Re: bankruptcy
Seven to 10 years. You should order your credit reports from the three credit reporting agencies to make sure your discharged debt is being properly reported. If you do this, and find that discharged debt is showing up as unpaid, please contact me to discuss your remedies.
