Re: bankruptcy

You can't stop the process of filing after the first meeting of creditors, as the documents are already filed by then, but I'm guessing your question is really, what happens if you don't comply with other requirements for the bankruptcy. This depends on which chapter of bankruptcy you filed.

If you filed a chapter 7 and you already did the debtor education requirement, you will get a discharge unless the trustee decides property needs to get liquidated (You'd still get a discharge but your property would also be liquidated) or that you are not filing in good faith or making to much to be in a chapter 7. If you make too much or not filing in good faith your case would likely just be dismissed.

If you filed a chapter 13 and do nothing after the first meeting of creditors and you aren't making payments (which i would assume is the case if you are doing nothing), then the case will be dismissed.
