Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Michigan
Chapter 7 bankruptcy
Can rent to own items be included in chapter 7 bankruptcy? I have some items that I have rented and I am only two months away from paying it off but I am being harassed by the Rent to own company. I failed to realize that about a year ago, when I filed for bankruptcy, I believe I included them.

Yes, Rent to own items can be included in bankruptcy. In fact an items you own, owe, or have a contract in MUST be included. Keep in mind that if you stop paying and do not pay them in full, that you can lose the property. If you have any other questions, let me know.
