How much debt does one have to owe?
How much in debt does a person have to be before filing for bankruptcy - if that person is retired and receives about $28,000 per year in retirement income.

Greetings; There is no minimum amount of debt required to file a chapter 7 bankruptcy. There are other requirements that must be met.
