Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Michigan
I am getting a divorce. My husband is filing for bankruptcy. Our car is in his name with a lien on it. Is it safe for me to pay the lien and have the car put in my name?

The problem with paying the lien in full while he's in bankruptcy is that it possibly becomes an asset. I'd avoid any transfers of property if I were you until he's out of the bankruptcy entirely and your divorce is final.
