Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Michigan

What should I do?

Due to a change in my income, I find myself unable to pay all my bills. I have one piece of property, a motorhome, that if I could rid myself of that large payment, I think I would be ok. Ive tried to sell it, but have found I owe alot more on it than its worth. Is it better for me to file chapter 13 or let the motorhome go into reposession?

Re: What should I do?

You haven't provided nearly enough information for a proper analysis regarding chapter's 7 and 13. However, in a chapter 7, if you are otherwise eligible, you may be able to elect to turn the motor home in, and discharge the negative equity on the loan.

Consult with a bankrutpcy attorney in your area. You may contact me directly if you choose.
