Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Michigan
Eviction
Had a person move into my only residence, no security dep., usees my propane etc etc. This is my only home. I filed for eviction, served papers and all that. Less than 24 hours before the eviction hearing, I get the case closed because he filed for Chapter 7. He filed on the very same day he recieved the papers, he has his own home, and will not allow me to enter to get any of my personal belongings. He also is using a woodstove in my house, which I am not insured for, should it burn down I lose my home. It seems like I cant touch him. Any suggestions???
