Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Michigan
Filing bankruptcy with a co-signed loan
I am going to file bankruptcy, but I currently have a garnishment for a dental loan that my dad co-signed for, can I include that in my bankruptcy with out them going after my dad?

You must include all of your debts in your bankruptcy. However, if the loan continues to be paid after the bankruptcy then your dad shouldn't get sued.
