Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Michigan

Keeping my house if I file for bankruptcy.

We are on time on all our mortgage payments. Is there any way to file bankruptcy but keep my house and a leased car?

Sure. The bank for the mortgage and auto lease may be willing to entering into a reaffirmation of the debt. However, if you own a house and are seriously considering bankruptcy - I strongly advise you to seek the assistance of bankruptcy counsel before you file.
