Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Michigan

Lawsuit

I won a suit against someone, but unknown to me he had already filed bankrupecy.

I would like to collect my monies from his company that the check was wrote from.

He admitted to owning the money. Since then he has moved. I found out where he stay's. I filed a writ which has expired.

question 1: Now that I know where he lives, where his trucks are located, and I know the lisence plates number, will this allow me to get another writ to seize his business equipment?

or

can I get my money through his federal taxes. I believe he still has to file on the business that went bankrupt, right?

Re: Lawsuit

You cannot collect on a judgment from someone who has filed for bankruptcy if you were notified of the bankruptcy and/or were listed on his bankruptcy schedules. Continued efforts by you to collect could result in sanctions against you. Instead of him owing you money, you may have to pay him money.
