Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Michigan

personal bankrupcy

my sister is collecting disability payments, and a partial retirement from her past employer, if she files chapter 7 will her limited income from the disibalty, and retirement be at risk. she has no other income, lives alone in a manufacture home which with the lot rent is draining her she has bills from credit cards about 14,000. several thousand dollars in medical bills, and did i mention is on the liver transplant list. i would like to see her file except we worry what will hapen to her disibality and retirement income and how if at all will it effect her liver transplant when it happens, this could be any time in the next several years. we would like to see her give up the manufacture home and get a small apartment.

She shouldn't have any problem. However, it all depends on how much income she actually has. If she is making enough money to pay her debts back then she may have to do so. Call me and I can help 5862851700
