Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Michigan
I recently filed for Chapter 13 to save my home from foreclosure. Well, after I filed my mortgage company decided to approve my request for a modification. My question to you is once the process starts can I pull the mortgage from the Chapter 13 and just deal with my "unsecured" debt that I added to the filing?

There's no reason to 'pull the mortgage from the 13.. Basically you must obtain Court approval for the loan modification but continue to have the Chapter 13 Trustee pay them - but at the new amount (once approved). If your attorney doesn't know how to handle this type of operation, you should obtain a new one immediately.
