In a 50/50 partnership and one partner assumes 100 when he wants out, can I fight for my 50 percent?

As a Franchise Attorney I can say a lot more detail is necessary. What do you mean by "one partner assumes 100?" Is there a partnership agreement? What does it provide in terms of buy out of partnership interests? You really need to consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.

Its hard to say without looking at the agreements in place. You need a corporate lawyer to look at this to advise you properly. Tim Klisz
