Breach of Contract
Can a business owner protected under LLC status, be held liable for
a Breach of Contract?
If the business has closed it's doors since the Breach was initiated?
Where can I find out if this business had filed for bankruptcy?

LLCs generally protect an individual from liability. There are exceptions but they are small and must be discussed with an attorney. As to bankruptcy, a business can expire without going bankrupt. To check bankruptcy, all you must do is call the bankruptcy court in Detroit or Grand Rapids.
