Legal Question in Business Law in Michigan
If a business is a sole proprietorship and another person invests some money with no ownership rights, no contract was written nor a verbal agreement other then what the money was being spent on. The money was used to buy merchandise for the business. The person helps out at the store but is not classified as a employee, Does the investor have the right to come into the shop and remove the merchandise with out the knowledge of the owner? the dollar amount is well above the felony amount which I believe is $3000.00

It's up to the police to decide. If they feel its a crime, they will investigate and bring charges to the prosecutor. If not, they will determine its a civil matter and you would need to sue them person in small claims court to recover.
