comingling money between two companies, 1 co. files ch 7
two companies that we do business with are owned by the same person, ( both companies are incorporated) they both companies would buy from us and co. 1 would order the product and sometimes co. 2 would pay the bill. co. 1 ran up a 7500 bill and now co. 2 says co. 1 will cease to exist and the debt owed to us will not be repaid, they are going to file chapter 7. can they do this since they comingled there accounts, how can they just all of a sudden seperate. company 2 has never paid late and do not owe money, they sent a letter in march stating that as of jan 1st (3 monts earlier) they cease to exist. can we do something

I need more facts before I can advise you on your options. Was there a contract? Both of you merchants? etc. There may be an action based on prior performance. Please contact me and good luck!
