Legal Question in Business Law in Michigan
Conflict of Interest???
I work for a small graphics company
that provides industrial type graphics. I
want to start my own graphic design
business on the side, out of my home,
while I work for the small graphics
company. I would NOT use, or take any
of the customers from the company I
work for. I also would be doing different
type of work. Can I do this Legally?
And without any problems from the
company I work for?

Re: Conflict of Interest???
It really depends on whether you executed an employment agrement and if you did, what that agreements says. If you didn't sign anything i don't see any problem, as long as its on your own time, and doesnt involve any customers of your current employer.
