Legal Question in Business Law in Michigan
My friend and I started up a couple businesses three years ago one in flooring and the other in window coverings. My friend purchased the two franchises and decided that each one would personally operate one of the buinesses. After three years the friend is now taking the business away due to a seperation. There was no contract as to what was going to happen in case of a seperation so I know that everything is up in the air. Does he have the righ to do that?

One can argue that there was a contract due to specific performance if you performed in a certain manner for the three years. Call us at 734.779.1662 for a more complete indepth analysis of your situation.
