Any business or franchise attorney will say most employment is at will, unless you have a written employment agreement. The employer can let you go, change your pay rate, etc. at their discretion. The only limitation is minimum wage. They must pay at least the minimum required by law. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
