Legal Question in Business Law in Michigan
I am interested in purchasing a small business in my area. I was wondering if we could get copies of all the documents from the business before we start the buying process. We want to review all the documents to make sure it is worth buying, is that alright to do? And what all are the steps/documents we would need to purchase the business?
Thank you!

You should absolutely get all the papers to review, as well as financials. This is called "due dilligence" and is a must. Visit www.kliszlaw.com to discuss in detail. Tim Klisz
