Legal Question in Business Law in Michigan

Invoicing

What is the maximum allowable time that a company can invoice a customer after services rendered and the customer still has to legally pay the for the services rendered? We invoiced customer 4-5 months after services rendered due to the fact that is when we had completed all of our necessary paperwork on our end, and the customer refuses to pay now saying that it has been too long since the services were complete to the point of receiving an invoice.

Re: Invoicing

arguably it is 6 years for a breach of contract. That is the statute if limitations for a breach. I would be happy to look into this in more detail for you. Contact me at www.kliszlaw.com to discuss. Tim Klisz
