As a Franchise Attorney I need to ask you to repost your question with more detail. What kind of service are you talking about? Why were you charged twice? Over what period of time were you charged twice? Be as detailed as possible, or consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.

I would think not. It is a breach of contract as well as possible consumer protection violation in Michigan. Contact me at kliszlaw.com to discuss. Tim Klisz
