Legal Question in Business Law in Michigan
I recently traded my iPhone 4 for virtual currency on an online game. I sold it to a trusted seller with high feedback on a forum, so I agreed to go first and prove I sent it by giving tracking information.
After doing so, he never gave me the currency! I'm not sure what to do because wouldn't it be his word against mine on whether not he actually sent it?
I have his name, proof of shipment, and his address. How do I get my iPhone back?

You would have to sue him. Otherwise it is gone. Tim Klisz. Kliszlaw.com
As a Franchise Attorney I basically agree with the other attorney answer, but add the following. First, hopefully this has been a learning lesson. Don't do business with people on the internet, unless it is via an established site, like eBay, that has a dispute process, insurance, etc. Second, realize your iPhone is gone. You can try to sue for damages, but that's a long shot (for example, where is the seller located?), and even if you get a judgement, you still have to collect on it. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
