Legal Question in Business Law in Michigan
A security company provides a full time security officer to work 40 hours to a company who agrees to a contract. One day the officer leaves and is no longer with the company. The security company sends a temporary employee to fill in until they can hire another full time employee. This temporary employee is charged seperately to the customer. About 2-3 years pass by and the security company has not hired a full time employee. The security company is collecting money from the customer for the security officer who is not there and is collecting money for the temporary employee who is there. Is this legal?

It certainly is a breach of their contract, but the company has to monitor their bills as well. I would think negotiation should be in order. Tim Klisz. Kliszlaw.com
