my step son is trying to raise my rent he email me today an tell me he want 200 more dollas now i been here 5 years i dont have no rent reciets at all what is the proper percedure for land lord tenent an my lease say one thing but he asking for another

As a Franchise Attorney I agree with the other attorney. If your lease is just month-to-month, your step son can change the rent after 30 days notice. If you've signed a long term lease that is still valid, and it locks in the current rent, that's a different story. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
