Legal Question in Business Law in Michigan
What type of lawyer would I consult with as a start-up business looking to hire my first employees? Start-up attorney makes sense on some level, but would I also need to consult an employment attorney?

Hire a good corporate attorney who has connections with accountants and other business people in your community. As your business grows you will need a law firm that can handle the different issues you will face and provide counseling as necessary. Happy to help or provide a referral if you need one.

A good general counsel familiar with employment law and litigation is important. I have many small businesses as clients for this very reason. Tim Klisz kliszlaw.com
