Legal Question in Business Law in Michigan
My wife & I are partners in a LLC with my wife's niece and her husband. The neice's husband has written company checks for personal purchases (vehicle purchase $1300.00, and seasonal golf fees $2500.00) and disregards the objections of us and his wife. What recourse do we have?

It would depend on the LLC operating agreement. What kind of members are you guys - general or limited? Who is who? What is your sharing arrangement? Such withdrawals have tax bearing as also on the accounts - inside and outside basis of the members (partners).
We would be happy to review the documents you have and work accordingly. It is possible that the husband already has powers to do that. Feel free to call us.
