Re: Wrongful Termination

This depends heavily on the terms of the employment contract, if one existed. You should review the contract carefully, and perhaps ask an attorney to review for guidance in interpreting termination provisions.

If there was no employment contract, Michigan is at 'at-will' employment state and employment can typically be terminated for any reason as long as the reason is not contrary to constitutionally-provided protections.

You should certainly consult an attorney with the facts of your specific case for a more precise analysis.

Good luck to you!
