Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Michigan
I was 17 years old when I was convicted of a larceny and l was 21 when I was convicted of check no-account. The larceny was a misdemeanor and the other was a felony. I am 34 now. Is there any chance I can get it expunged off my record or my civil rights back so I can legally own a gun. Federally and bye the state I live in. I committed the crimes in Michigan. I just want to go hunting with my kids and family. And protect them.

It is my understanding that you can only have one conviction on your record in order to qualifiy for an expungement. Two, I believe, disqualifies you.
