adolecent fondle

I have a 13 year old who was curious about the female body and he fondled a friends daughter who is 8 yrs old this happened two times and it was only a touch with in just a few seconds he acknoledges this as a very inaproptiate touch and is extreamly sorry and remorseful it was reported and he has to talk to a trooper what do we do from here

First of all, he doesn't have to talk to a trooper and I suggest that NO CONVERSATION between your son and any one else take place regarding these incidents. You or your son are not required by law to speak to anyone.

Do nothing. If the people have a case, they will notify you by mail. Anything you or your son say in an investigation will not help you.

Get a lawyer's help before you have any further contact with the authorities.

It is quite possible he will be charged with criminal sexual conduct as a juvenile. It is best to have a lawyer who is extremely familiar with the juvenile system represent him.
