Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Michigan
getting a bad infected tattoo from a bad infected tattoo experience!
i just recently have gotten a tatto from someone here in my town. the conditions were very unsanitary but the lady had reassured me that there was nothing to be worried of. wearily i signed the release forms stating that possible infection could occur...yada yada yada...i went to her the next day with my leg very swelled up and sore...practically i couldnt walk on it...she said it looked fine...the next couple days i went back again and she said it was the normal healing process. i was hesitant so i went to the doctor and he said it was very badly infected and that the lady had used too much ink and went too deep in my skin. the doctors have put me on many antibiotics and medicines and have perscribed bed rest...i am missing out on school and am still in a great deal of pain. now they are talking about grafting my skin because its gotten so bad. i am sure that the infection was recieved through those conditions as my 1st tattoo healed wonderfully...is there any grounds for a suit here at least to cover my medical bills?

Make an appointment with a Personal Injury Attorney in your town. Initial consultations are usually done at no cost - ask first.
If you don't know any, call your local Bar Association. They will provide you with a list of lawyers who do this kind of work in your area.
