Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Michigan

Is this a breach of confidentiality?

Last week I sent my father to pick up my prescription of Amoxicillan at the local pharmacy. My father informed the girl behind the counter that he was there to pick up a prescription for his daughter. The girl, (not a pharmacist), explained to my father, who is a very religious man, that I needed to use an extra form of contraceptive while using the Amoxicillan, because the drug will tamper with the strength of the birth control pills that I am currently taking.

I live at home with my parents who are very strict and who also had no idea that I am using a contraceptive. Since this happened, a strain has been put on the relationship between my dad and I. He believes that I now need to get married and move out. I am wondering if the pharmacy is liable for the breach of confidentiality which therefore led to my great emotional distress. I have no money for a wedding or to finish school. Is this worth pursuing?
