Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Michigan

Employee Rights re: IRA ACCOUNT

I work as the only office employee for a doctor. Two years ago he set up and IRA/SEP account for me, where he makes the contributions and I am 100% vested immediately. I never was given a summary by him of the IRA or a book that is required to be given to me. I finally received the summary when I requested it from the financial planner. He in turn told the employer I requested this - and now I am informed by my employer that he is changing the type of retirement he set up for me. What are my rights?

Also, I do plan on leaving his employ soon - since it is a very hostile enviroment to work in, and is just getting worse.

Re: Employee Rights re: IRA ACCOUNT

The plan dictates your rights. See a lawyer with a copy of the plan. He cannot take back what he has given you if you are vested. Bill Stern
