Insentive pay is based on pallets per hour but no way to tell how they are payin

At work we get an incentive pay based on pallets moved per hour. We also have to list what funtion we are doing at a paticular time. This also can affect our pay . So if we can not move pallets at a certain time, and there is other work we can list under that funtion and perform that funtion till our primary work becomes avilable. My question is that we are payed incentive once a month calculated on a weekly basis. WE are receiving our checks, but there is no way to tell if they are correct. We used to receive incentive slips on a weekly basis, but now we never receive them and there is no way to tell. Our supervisor is responsable for entering all this information. Just resently every single employees check was short and the supervision confirms that they are indeed short and they will add it to next months check. this is frustrating bercause they have made mistakes in the past and now we suspect that we will never get the right amont but there is no way to tell. Bottom line my question is don't our employers have to give us an incentive slip showing us how we are payed? We get a check stub shwong us how many hours we have worked

Too bad you aren't unionized. If you were, you could file a grievance to address the issue. Why don't you contact a union and invite them in to organize? You will not believe the job security you get when the contract is negotiated. William S. Stern

I recommend you get a copy of a book titled Your Rights In the Workplace by Nolo

Press the leading publisher of self help law books. It's one of the best

books for the general public that I've seen covering employee's rights in

the workplace in an easy to read and understand format. It has a chapter on wages and hours and also covers a lot of other work related issues. If you want to know what your legal rights are as an employee then this is the book I recommend. It can also help you determine whether this
