Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Michigan

landloard

if my mother is my landloard and she entered my home when i wasn't home and took pictures and removed property from my shed without me being home is that against the law? my mom has power of attorney over my brother and she is renting his property to me because he is in a group home. but she always comes over and barges in with out any notice is she violating my rights as a tenant? or does she have the right because its my brothers house?

Re: landloard

If the storage shed is used by other people, it could be deemed to be a common area and she could enter it. If it is your area exclusively, she may have violated the landlord tenant law. William S. Stern
