Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Michigan
What laws refer to defamation of character
A young man filed a false police report about me. My reputation was in question and he said that I swore and threatened him. I did not. I did not even opened my mouth to this young man. He is lying and slandering my character.
What recourse do I have?

You can sue him but it would most likely be a waste of time. If a lawyer charged you by the hour, would you put your own money into your case to sue him? I doubt it. Bill Stern
