hello my name is lenny and i was told that if a person is legal to smoke marijuana that they may be denied employment so how dose this work

Smokers (no matter what you smoke) may be denied employment because Smokers are not a protected class. It doesn't matter if what you are smoking is legal, or if you are legally permitted to smoke it, the employer can still refuse to hire you.
