Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Michigan
Minor Rights
Considering the fact that there is a 17 year old boy that invites a 14 year old girl over for a party of some sort. The consensus is that everyone at the ''party'' is welcome to stay the night at the appointed house. Is it a problem that the 17 year old boy asked the 14 year old girl to stay the night in that context? If yes, what laws shows that and if no, why?
Thank you.

A 17 year old is allowed to have overnight visitors. It is sex with a minor that is not allowed. Bill Stern
