Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Michigan
Paper Trail
Hello,
I was recently told behind closed doors in my supervisors office that i am not allowed to work more than 45 hours a week .
keep in mind our entire department here has no limits , this policy is in effect for me due to the fact that i worked 53-58 hours last week and she has broght up that this is required from her no one else was given this policy but me .
I asked her to put that information in writing and she said she is NOT because she told me behind closed doors ?
Is this legal , legally i am supposed to have a paper trail of any different schedule or hours that i am to abide by correct ?
Please help , i feel like i am being picked on .

Re: Paper Trail
It probably has to do with the new overtime regulations. Bill Stern
